Wipeout

That was my first game project, done in 3 months during a course about game programming. It's a simple clone of the game Wipeout.

It was done under Windows 2000 with Visual Studio 6.0. The rendering engine uses OpenGL in inmmediate mode and a very simple culling algorithm (render current track chunk and the nearest ones before and after). The meshes are stored in a simple and standard format: ASE. For collision detection I have used coldet and FMOD 3.73 for sound. The sound effects are downloaded from a variety of web sites and background music is the song Set Your Controls from Arjen Anthony Lucassen's Star One.
